We tend to trust people we have known for a long period of time. Family is the most common group of people we thrust because we have been with them our whole lives and can talk to them about most things. Friends that I have known for a long time I can talk to but if I have only known a friend for a short period of time I tend to not tell them as much as I would some one I have known for a long time. We can normally trust ourselves but some people may not be able to depending on who you are.
ReplyDeleteThe people we tend to trust is the people that are most important to us. We also trust people we have know for a long time. I also think that we trust the people who trust us. For me I do not trust people who are unreliable and that are not meaningful in my life. I think we trust ourself unless we have done something wrong or that we have not have fufilled the trust for friends and family.
ReplyDeleteWe tend to trust people we think we know well. Also people that help us and mentor us like a parent, teacher, or coach we tend to trust more. Going off what Easton said, I think it depends on family dynamics. I personally only trust my family, with the exception of my brother, with simple and pretty shallow things. I have found that my friends are a little more trustworthy, particularly with personal things, because many of them go or have gone through similar stuff. If I told my parents some things, I think they would judge me and possibly scold me because they have expectations. When it comes to self trust, I personally trust myself more than anyone else, but I think it really depends on the kind of person you are. Macbeth, for instance, does not really trust himself just because of the faith he puts in the witches prediction, whereas Banquo I feel trusts himself and his judgement more. I get the sense that Banquo trusts himself more because he does not take the witches prophecies as seriously as Macbeth does.
ReplyDeleteI feel as if we trust our best friends or friends we have know our whole lives the most because usually they know whats best for you by now. Unless there intentions are bad then you probably shouldn't trust them. I feel that we don't trust ourselves as much as we should like some people i'll see and they will say, "o ya I don't trust myself to do that or I forget things all the time I don't trust myself." People who do this are just not smart because anyone can do anything if they put there minds to it because all that life is just figuring how to control mind over matter.
ReplyDeleteI believe we trust our close friends and our family because they know almost everything about us and spend the most time with us. It is good to have people to trust around you but they can only be as trustworthy as ourselves. For instance if you would like to be considered trustworthy you need to be able to keep a secret. We can only hold in so much before we tell someone but that depends on the person. The real answer to the question is we will never know how much we can trust ourselves, we just have to learn as we go.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of trust is very broad and I believe that we trust people who we feel close to and safe with. For example, a parent, sibling, or best friend. We tend to trust these types of people because they are the ones that are most important to us in or lives so we believe that if we tell them something or ask them to do something it is because we have trust in them. This goes into the idea of trusting ourselves. I trust myself more than any person in the world. The first reason in this is because I know myself better than I know anyone else. I trust myself because I do not boubt my own abilities and descisions as to where someone else might. Therefore, we trust ourselves more than you trust someone else.
ReplyDeleteWe as humans trust anyone who we care ans have known for a long time. We also trust people who are trusted by the people we trust most of the time. We do trust ourselves but there are times when we don't. Like doing something you will regret. For Example, stealing something, Our minds tell us not to do it but something else make you do it. Drugs is also a way that people lose trust in themselves because drugs are addicting and even though you know its bad you do it and you keep doing it.
ReplyDeleteThe people we trust are the people that are closest to us. We trust the people that we know will be with us through the good and the bad and won't stab you in the back. They are the people that will have your back when a bad situation comes about. I personally think trusting yourself is the best person to trust. You control how you live and what you do so you are the person you should put the most trust in. You should trust yourself more than anybody else.
ReplyDeleteTrust is built upon the experiences we share with another person. We tend to trust our family, friends, and even people that have a large impact on our daily life. Whether it be a coach or even a teacher, we share common exposures of life. I myself trust my brothers and friends because I have grown up with them and we share many similarities.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I cannot trust myself to a certain extent. I feel weak in the fact that I cannot accomplish goals that I have set for myself. I also make myself promises that I do not end up keeping. I know I can trust myself up to the point where I cannot lose anything. You can relate this to someone who is trying a diet. They are used to pigging out on sweets and greasy food, but when they commit to a diet, they lose the option of gorging all the food they love. They are tempted to return to their old habits because they "lost" something that they have come accustomed to.
I think the people we trust are people we are close to. People that have similar traits to us because it is easy to trust ourselves. I think trusting yourself is easy because you know yourself best and know what you can or cannot do.
ReplyDeleteThe people that we truly trust are generally people we have known for an extended period of time. They are people who have proven themselves to us. The only exception to that is to how much we trust ourselves. This may vary do to the condition of the person. For example someone struggling with an addiction. They may trust themselves to stop the addiction however that stops if they don't and then they seek help from someone else they trust.
ReplyDeleteI think we trust the people that are closes to us like family and best friends. someone you have gotten to know mabe not over a long period of time in in any amount of time. I think only certin people trust them self beccause of what they have done in the past but for the most part we trust our self the besy.
ReplyDeleteI think the people we trust the most are either the people we are closest to with or people we know won't judge us based on the past. Maybe a best friend or someone who is just there to listen when your feeling gloom. People like me haven't always been the most trusting but in life you have to forgive and forget. I think that i have full confidence in myself because if you don't your not really you.
